Can I use the My Pet Washer indoors?
The My Pet Washer is designed for both Indoor and Outdoor use. We supply everything you need-- the My Pet Washer spray handle, and indoor shower bi-valve diverter, an 8-foot indoor hose and a debris-catching filter bag to capture dirt as you wash and rinse your pet.
How hard is it to install the bi-diverter shower adaptor?
It's very easy. Complete instructions come with your My Pet Washer. These instructions are summarized here: Carefully remove your showerhead sprayer. If you need to use an adjustable wrench or pliers, cover the showerhead stem with a cloth to prevent scratching. If you have difficulty removing the showerhead, do not force it. Call a plumber or skilled handy man. Once the showerhead is removed, twist the supplied bi-valve diverter on to the shower pipe stem and tighten. Next, twist the 8-foot flexible hose to the male end on the side of the diverter and tighten. Finally, replace the showerhead by twisting it on the open male end of the diverter. Most showerheads are easily removed. The whole process should take no more than a couple of minutes. Next, attach your My Pet Washer to the 8 ft. flexible hose. Redirect the water flow by using the bi-valve diverter on the shower adaptor so the water flows to the My Pet Washer.
The My Pet Washer also works with indoor utility sinks equipped with an outside threaded faucet. To use with outside threaded utility faucet, you will need a 1/2" MPT (male pipe thread)- 3/4" FHT (female hose thread) coupler. These are available at Lowes, Home Depot and most good hardware stores. They cost about $1. If you have difficulty finding one, please let us know and we can supply you with one.
To use with an outside threaded utility sink faucet, simply twist the coupler onto the spigot and tighten and then attach the 8-ft hose onto the coupler and tighten. The bi-valve diverter is not required for this application.

2) Based upon the size and length of your pet's fur, you will may have to manually adjust the distance between the My Pet Washer spray head and your pet to achieve the proper Vortex Action. Begin at four inches and manually adjust inward/outward.
3) When using indoors or with warm water always check the water temperature before spraying your pet.
4) Before storing, drain the hose and your My Pet Washer of water. To do this hold the hose vertically and squeeze the lever handle. Coil the hose and store with your pet supplies or in another convenient location.
