It will normally allow small pets to see out the car window while kept safe with a harness and a connecting safety strap that connects the harness to the Console Lookout. It will boost the pet about 3 inches above the console. The Console Lookout is, in turn, secured to your front bucket seats by means of straps that hold it in place, keeping it from being thrown in cases of sudden stops or accidents. Please do not connect safety strap to a neck collar in case of sudden stops. Use only with a harness (harness not included).
