Why is this Kodiak so special?

The inner lining literally reflects body heat to allow your dog to warm themselves. And, should your dog be wet- before the get the coat on-- the lining helps to vaporize the water to help warm and dry your dog.
Can my dog use the coat in harsh winter weather?
The Kodiak is the ultimate bad weather coat. The exterior shell is fully waterproof, wind proof, snow proof and ice proof. The insulating layer is an ultro lightweight, yet higly insulative material that seems thin but has maximal heating and insulative capacity. The inner layer is a heat reflecting, soft, comfortable material that actually helps your dog to heat themselves. This coat was tested tough at the 2006 Iditarod Sled Dog Race. It it works there--it will work anywhere.
How easy is it to take care of this garment?
This garment is very easy to care for. Simply wash in cold water with mild detergent and line dry or low tumble dry. You can also roll the garment if needed to remove any debris/mud that may accumulate.
What is different about this garment?
First it is simple, While not just 'another dog blanket' this coat Velcro's for a precise and comfortable fit. Unlike our other winter garments, there are no sleeves. This is a great option for older, arthritic dogs. It can be placed on the dog in literally 10 seconds.

How to measure your dog:
1. Top Line - Measure from the middle of the shoulder blades along the back bone to the dock of the tail.
2. Girth -- Measure the distance around the girth from just behind the front legs.
Compare your dog's measurements with those recommended by the sizing chart to determine the most appropriate size for your dog. If your dog's measurements fit into more than one category, use the Top Line measurement alone to select the best size.
