Constructed of rugged ABS plastic with a steel wrapped cord, the Lectro Kennel can lie flat on the floor be attached to the wall. The product packaging advises you not to cover the entire doghouse floor with Lectro Kennel so that the dog can choose whether to lie on or against the heated pad. When mounted on a wall, precaution is needed not to drill through or puncture the pad electrical components in any way.
